NXDN Simplex?
I think I know the answer to this question but is it possible to have 2 Kenwood NX Portables programmed on a simplex channel but also be NXDN Digital quality without going through a Nexedge repeater?

Simplex NXDN Calling Channels
A proposal has been put forth to utilize the following frequencies as NXDN calling channels:
VHF = 147.996875, RAN = 0
UHF = 449.996875, RAN = 0
If there are no objections, this will be published as adopted on 01MAY2015.
