Kenwood NX-800 Programming for MMDVM With Group ID 65000
(Talk Group)

Here are the basics of how to throttle the 65000 Group ID (Talk Group) to your single Conventional NXDN channel for MMDVM. Kenwood KPG-111D

Programming Software
Make Sure you first Read Radio and Save Codeplug as a Data file before you making any changes.

Now here are the selections that are working for my NX-800
When programming make sure you select the proper frequency band split for your radio revision. My radio is a NX-800 K UHF 450-520 MHz.
The correct ban split and model is listed in a tag under the bottom of my NX-800 mobile. Just confirm that the software is set for the correct band split before writing any data to it.

Create the Zone, Edit then Zone Information

Add Your input and Output Frequencies
Channel Type Select NXDN
Ran Decode 1
Ran Encode  1
Channel Name     Your Callsign
Transmit Power    high or Low
Channel Spacing  Very Narrow

Select from the Top Edit then NXDN
General 1 Tab
Unit ID  Own      Your registered 5 Digit ID
Unit ID Name Own.   Your Callsign
Group Call Display Type Calling Transceiver ID

Now select Group ID List Tab
Under No. Line 1
ID    65000
ID name     GROUP ID 0001
Transmit Inhibit       NO

Now go back to your Zone and under Zone Edit change audio control to " RAN and optional signaling"
Now under Channel Edit, set optional signaling NXDNto " NXDN ID".
Next set sellcall on PTT NXDN to "Group Call"
Next set ID List Number  NXDN to "1"

Then Program Radio,
From the top Select Program then Write Data to Transceiver
