Hi All
As you may be aware, things have been moving on steadily with the new NXDN clients; the gateway, parrot and reflector. There has been a lot of testing by VK2HK and VK4TUX leading me to find and squash a number of bugs. It's almost ready for a full release, just a few things to be sorted out.
There is already an existing NXDN network, and our system links into theirs very successfully. We will therefore, wherever possible, use the same TG numbers as they do. Currently we have 1200 and 505 linked, and I hope that 65000 will be linked soon.
Once the new code is deemed mature enough, I will allow a grace period for it to filter into distributions before having the old NXDN TG65000 closed down.
Then NXDN will be running at full strength and will join the other modes as a full member of the MMDVM clan.
